The gas reducer (regulator) is intended for domestic use, complies with the EN16129 standard. It is used with any type of cylinder equipped with a manual opening valve and a 21.8 x 1.14 l connection.

It is used to supply gas to devices at the pressure indicated on the nameplate. The regulator has a pressure gauge that shows the current pressure in the cylinder, as well as a safety valve that is triggered in cases where the gas device has a higher gas consumption than the regulator can withstand, or the pipe is broken.

The use of a pressure gauge is mainly aimed at checking the tightness of the installation. A detailed description of how to perform the leak detection process can be found in the operating instructions.
An additional advantage of a pressure gauge is that it informs about low gas levels. As a rule, a pressure gauge does not show the gas level in the cylinder, it only allows you to determine that the cylinder will soon need to be replaced. This makes it possible to verify that the cylinder is empty, since users often replace cylinders that are still full of gas.
