Description

The main purpose of PVC insulating tape is electrical insulation of wires, but it can also be widely used for other household purposes.

The main properties of the insulating tape:

  • withstands high voltage current up to 5000 V – ensures safe operation of devices;
  • provides excellent adhesion – adheres to plastic, metal, tiles, glass, cardboard and other smooth surfaces;
  • heat-resistant – PVC insulating tape does not lose its properties in a wide temperature range from –30 to +70 °C;
  • non-toxic – does not have a strong odor and when used in the specified temperature range does not emit harmful impurities in dangerous concentrations;
  • elastic – easy to wind even thin wires or stick to a relief surface;
  • resistant to stretching – withstands stretching up to 150%;
  • fireproof - when the wire is strongly heated, no fire occurs at the point where the insulation breaks through. The tape can ignite only when exposed to open fire, but it goes out instantly;
  • moisture-resistant - reliably protects wires from moisture, prevents fungus and corrosion on pipes and other surfaces.
